Alice Cheek

Alice Ann Mary Cheek, 91, Duluth, died Friday, July 28, 2017 in Duluth. She was born in Superior on February 17, 1926 to Paul and Caroline (Ostraska) Pashibin. She was a lifelong resident of Superior until a few years before her passing. Alice was preceded in death by her son Randall and by her former husband James M. Cheek. Alice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James W. and Cyd Cheek of Knife River, MN; her grandchildren: Heather Ashbaugh and Dylan Cheek; her great-grandchildren: Alexandria and Quinn Erickson, and Sam and Claire Ashbaugh. Alice was loved and will be deeply missed. Private family services will be held. If so desired, memorials may be directed to the Union Gospel Mission.
