Arden Craig Axelson, 67, of Duluth, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at his home after a short illness. Arden was born November 21, 1950 in Duluth to Raymond and Audrey Axelson. He attended Duluth public schools and DBU and Duluth VoTec, now known as Lake Superior College. Arden served stateside in the Army during the Vietnam War. He started working at the US Postal Service before working in customer service at Norwest Bank, retiring from Wells Fargo after 26 years. Arden enjoyed watching TV, sports, especially the Viking and Twins; listening to music and holding court at the Greenery Restaurant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Audrey. Arden is survived by his brother, Roger; niece, Lynn (Merrill) Loy and his nephew Roger Axelson, Jr. A private family service will be held at a later date.
