Arlene Ruzich

Arlene M. Ruzich, 84, of N 7th Ave. E, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice after a short illness. Arlene was born February 13, 1931 in St. James, MN to Edward and Marie Munsterman. She graduated from St. James High School and married John Ruzich on Oct. 22, 1955 and they moved to Duluth in 1950.
Arlene had been a waitress at the Sand Bar and also did some catering.
She was very active in her church, Mount Olive English Lutheran Church, having worked many funeral lunches and other activities. She also enjoyed quilting and making puppets.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Steve and brothers, Elmer, Donald and Arnold.
Arlene is survived by her sons, Jeff (Kathy) Ruzich and Jay Ruzich; grandchildren, Helen and step granddaughter, Michelle (Josh) Kreager; great grandchildren, Nadine, Max and Evelyn; siblings, Lyle Munsterman, Jerry (Vonnie) Munsterman, Eldon (Beverly) Munsterman and Marvin Munsterman.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-7pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday from 12noon to the 1pm Services at Mount Olive English Lutheran Church, 2012 E Superior St. Duluth, MN. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd St. Duluth, (218) 727-3555.
