Audrey Blanche Ellstrom 92, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, June 6, 2014. Audrey was born in Rutledge, MN, October 15, 1921, to Winnard and Hannah Welshinger
Audrey was a graduate of Morgan Park High School in 1940. From there she went on to Beauty School; soon after she married the love of her life Ray whom she had known since he was 5 years old, on October 25, 1947, in Hinckley MN.
Audrey was a beautician for 40 years in Hinckley and in Motley MN. She was also very involved with her church the First Lutheran Church in Hinckley and in Duluth. She was also a member of the AARP, The Red Hats, and Lennox Club.
Audrey was preceded in death by, her loving husband; parents; brothers, Wesley and Eugene Welshinger; and sister-in-law, Edith Welshinger.
She is survived by daughter, Jean (Don) Priest, Duluth; son, Jack (Shelly) Ellstrom, Seattle, WA; grandsons, Michael (Rebekah) Priest, Aaron (Rebekah) Priest, Daniel (Katrina) Priest, and Patrick Ellstrom; granddaughter, Megan Ellstrom; great-grandsons, Nathaniel and Jordan Priest; great-granddaughters, Elsa, Charlotte, Lydia, and Hannah Priest; and other family and friends.
Service will be 11AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the First Lutheran Church, 301 Lawler Ave S, Hinckley, MN 55037, with a visitation one hour prior.
