Barbara Ann Bergerson

Barbara Ann Bergerson, 88, of Duluth passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024 at Elysian Senior Living in Duluth. Barb is preceded in death by her parents Margaret (Kersling) lmbertson McDonald and George lmbertson, her loving husband Donald Bergerson, sister Betty Kay lmbertson, brother Marvin lmbertson, Ed lmbertson, and stepsister Patty Johnson.

Barb is survived by her children Brad (Connie), Scott (Debi), Becky, Steve (Kristin), and Brian (Sandy), grandchildren Seth, Kelsey (Thomas), Hunter (Kali), Cale, Darian, Kendall, Keaton, Olivia, Brianna, great grandchildren Warren and Lena, brother Don (Joanne) lmbertson, sister-in-law Jacquie lmbertson, stepsister Charlene Gabrielson, and many nieces and nephews.

Barb was born in Hibbing on April 24, 1936. She graduated from Hibbing High School, married Donald Bergerson in Hibbing and together they raised a beautiful family. In 1976 they moved to Duluth. Barb enjoyed working at Tivoli Boutique, Steel Workers Union, and the Diocese of Duluth where she was their beloved receptionist for 27 years. 

Barb had many talents; sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, gardening, and entertaining. Her biggest talent of all was loving, taking care of, and spending time with her family at home and at the cabin.

The Family would like to thank the staff from Ecumen Lakeshore, Elysian Senior Living, and Hospice Care for the amazing compassion and care Barb received.

Visitation on February 13, 2025 will be 10-11am, Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00am, St. Benedict Catholic Church, 1419 St. Benedict St., Duluth MN. 55811
