Barbara Davis

Barbara L. Davis, 73, of Duluth, MN died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 1st, 2015.
Barbara was born in Duluth on December 9, 1941 to Donald T. and Dorothy Mae (Peterson) MacMillan. She attended Central High School in Duluth. Barbara was a diligent, loving, and fun wife and mother. She spent most of her career in Home Health Care. She was a member of the Elks Club, and proud of her involvement in the Minnesota 600 Bowling League. She loved traveling cross-country in her R.V., and enjoyed working in her garden. Barb was a kind hearted woman, whose sense of humor, and fun-loving personality is already missed. As her brother, Jerry put it: "A stranger to Barb was just a friend she had yet to meet."
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald T. & Dorothy Mae Peterson MacMillan, and her grandson Luke Hylden.
She is survived by her loving husband Terrence "Terry" Davis; children, Debbie (Ray Miles), TJ (Jody), and Tom (Lisa); grandchildren, Brianna, Hannah, Mackenzie, and Cate; step-grandchildren, Chase, Chelsey, Cable and Sara; brothers, Jerry (Judy Larson) and Donald "Buz"; aunt Helen Miller; sister-in-law Marlene Johnston; a large extended family; many friends, and her four legged friend " Daisy Mae."
VISITATION: 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7, to 5 p.m. at the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday, June 8 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John's Catholic Church, 4230 St. John's Ave, Duluth, MN.
