Barb McLeod, 59 of Duluth, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by family. Barb was born in Duluth to Walter and Dorothy Elmquist.
Barb was employed at Sam's Club for several years. She enjoyed sewing, collecting souvenir spoons and jigsaw puzzles. Barb dedicated the last 2 years taking care of her Mom at Primrose, visiting and spending time with her Mom and the other residents.
Barb was preceded in death by her father Walter and mother, Dorothy one day after her own death; her brother, Jim, Tony, Don and Richard.
Survivors include her children, Jeremy (Angie) McLeod, Lisa McLeod, Karla (Jeff) Jelinek; 8 grandchildren; her siblings, Eileen Pfisthner, Beverly Grant, Betty (Ken) Langenberger, Sharon Hansen-Rissi, Peggy (Jim) Torrance, Virginia (Butch) Orrey, Mary (Bob) Wakefield, Joanne (Bruce) Hanson; Rod (Lynn), Warren and Leon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held TODAY Thursday June 19th from 5-7 p.m. in the Dougherty Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary held at 7:00 p.m. and will continue Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service in the chapel.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Duluth.
