Bonnie Smith

Bonnie Marie Smith, 68, of Duluth, died on Monday October 7, 2013 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Aug. 27, 1945 in Duluth, MN to Reginald and Helen (Lundhagen) Bainville. Bonnie was a 1963 graduate of East High School she was employed as a clerk for the City of Duluth.

Bonnie married John Smith in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Duluth on Aug. 29, 1970.

Bonnie was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Western Rubies Red Hat Society and the All American Club Auxiliary. She loved to play bingo and visiting casinos. Bonnie and John loved to spend there winters in Panama City Beach, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; her sons, Roy of Duluth, Mark of Andover, MN; Jason (Sara) of Coon Rapids, MN; her grandchildren, Jarrod and Paige; her sisters, Rene Selleck of Duluth; Mary (Ron) McOmber of Sun City, CA; Michelle Pike of Oceanside, CA and her brother, Robert Bainville of Arizona.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in St. Benedicts' Catholic Church. A gathering of friends and family will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.

Burial will be in the Polish Catholic Cemetery in Duluth.
