Brian “Chino” Thomas Allen

d. June 25, 2024

Brian “Chino” Thomas Allen, 44, of Duluth, Minnesota passed away on June 25, 2024 from a broken heart. He was born in Richland, WA to Thomas and Francis Allen. He grew up and lived in AZ, OR, WA and when he was in the 6th grade he made Duluth, MN his home where he graduated from Denfeld High School 1998.

Brian had a love for building and fixing things which lead him to starting All Star General Contracting. He was always on the move and would never turn down an adventure. Even if he had just had knee surgery, he would be the first one in line for a dance off with his nieces. If you said he wouldn’t or couldn’t do it, he would. There was not a hot wing or physical challenges he was afraid to do! He had a love of the outdoors and spent as much time as possible on his motorcycle riding with his friends. Brian got into coaching boxing and football when his late son Paris started playing and quickly become a favorite coach.

Brian had the best shit-eating grin. He was always trying to make everyone around him smile with his quick wit and great sense of humor. His huge hugs and “I love you” will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his siblings, Debbie Allen, Brenda Short, Leesa Riches, Gary (Felecia) Allen, Stacey (Kevin) Chen, Stephan (Sophorn) Allen, Frankie (Krystle) Allen, Samual Scott and 18 nieces and nephews that knew Uncle Chino would never back down from any challenge no matter what the challenge was. Additional he is survived by his four step-children, Alexis, Noah, Cole and Libby; bonus parents Danny & Jana Bartness, bonus brothers Nathan (Jodi) Bartness and Travis (Cameo) Bartness. He is also survived by his best friends Jason “Mirk” Mirkovich and Dan “Giggles” Mathews, and his girlfriend Megan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his bonus sister Danielle Jones, and his beloved son, Paris Kaden Allen.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 14, 2024, at The Caddy Shack 2023 West Superior Street, Duluth, MN 55806 from 4PM-6PM.
