Brianna Johnson

Brianna Marie Johnson, 35, of Duluth passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Brianna was born in Duluth on February 1, 1982 to Gary and Joanne (Ricci) Johnson.  Brianna graduated from Duluth Central High School and attended LSC.  She worked at the grocery store in Kenwood for many years.  Brianna was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Animal Allies.

Brianna lived life with true joy in her heart, showing extraordinary compassion and love for everyone. She accepted many battles and fought them all as a true warrior.  Brianna's greatest enjoyment was spent with family, friends, and Gizmo.  Our Angel Brianna is now up in Heaven Smiling her Beautiful Smile.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents David and Hildegard Ricci, Merlin Johnson, and Russell Fourneir, and her cousin Camille Carlander.

Brianna is survived by her parents Gary and Joanne Johnson, brother Casey Johnson, sister Marina (Jeff) Udd, nephews Joe and Vinny, niece and Goddaughter Gina, grandmother Phyllis Fourneir, special friend Jason Clark, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and her dog, Gizmo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 9, 2017 from 5PM to 7 PM with Wake Prayers at 6:30PM in Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805. Visitation will continue Friday March 10, 2017 from 10am until 11am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedict Catholic Church 1419 St. Benedict St. Duluth, MN 55811.
