Bruce Swenson

Bruce Wayne Swenson, 62, Duluth, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at Bayshore Health Center. He was born in Duluth April 8, 1949 to Fredrick Peter and Lois (Gilbert) Swenson. Bruce was a Duluth Central High School graduate and a Vietnam Navy veteran. He married Barbara Pauline Anne Poulin on May 27, 1972 in Duluth. Bruce worked at Essentia Health St. Marys Medical Center since 1973. He was a member of Living Stones Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joyce Swenson, and infant brother Gary Lee Swenson. Bruce is survived by his wife Barbara; son Miles Milo (Paula) and their son Owen; daughter Tara Chabot and her daughter Michaela, all of Duluth; brother Fred (Margie); and sisters Cindy (Debbie Harris) Grondahl and Margaret (Tom) Stauduhar; and many nieces and nephews. Bruces family would like to thank everyone for their loving support. VISITATION: 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Living Stones Fellowship, 115 W. Myrtle St., where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Memorials may be directed to the donors choice. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Park Cemetery, Hermantown, with Military honors accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.
