Bruce Taylor

Beloved Great Uncle, Uncle, Son, & Brother Bruce Taylor went home to Heaven, Saturday March 12, 2016. Born in Duluth December 18, 1959 to Paul and Maxine Taylor, Bruce was a Central Trojan at heart, but proudly graduated an East "Cake Eater" - his family still loved him. He attended Grambling and Brown, and was a scholar in love and forgiveness.
A faithful man, Bruce had an incredible smile, kind heart, and fun nature. He was generous with hugs, laughter, and conversation. He shared a joyful love unique to all who were fortunate to know him. Nobody was a stranger to Bruce, and he never turned down a good debate. Bruce, Brucie, "Cool Breeze," we love you.
Bruce is greeted in Heaven by his parents, brother Terry, niece Tanya Byers, and his aunties and uncles.
Bruce is deeply missed by siblings Paul Taylor III, Carolyn (Christopher) Anderson, Alice (Kevin) Taylor, Melissa Taylor, David and Edward Taylor. Nieces and nephews Jacquelyn (Keith) Snodgrass, Trey (Jill) Taylor, Trina (Brian) Taylor, Brandon (Rana) Byers, Tylor (Shokoufeh) and Tyann Taylor, Andrea Potter, Darris (Jamese) Garner, Tamika Taylor, Tyrah Taylor, Chelsea Spellerberg, Nicole and Haylie Taylor. Great nieces and nephews, Alexandria Watczak, Maya and Brooklyn Schietel-Taylor, Phoenix Oakgrove-Taylor, Shantik Taylor, Imani Snodgrass, Vida, Taya, and Zion Byers, Javon Farrell, Julius and Jaylen Garner, Aniya Spellerberg, Hayden Taylor. Jerry and Rick Byers, David Hutchison, Shannon Johnson, Debra Robinson, Eberle Family, Nancy and Allan Preston, and loving cousins and friends.
Visitation is 12pm, Service at 1:00pm, Friday, March 18, 2016, Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1505 Eklund Avenue. Duluth, MN 55811. Bruce will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery.
