Carla Miller

Carla Jean Miller passed away on April 22nd, 2024 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center Duluth at the age of 64.  She was a resident of Hermantown, MN.  Born May 30th, 1959 in Duluth, MN she was the daughter of Dorothy Pezzanito Miller. 

Carla retired from UDAC after many years.  She had a great passion for coffee, knitting and music; Carla fulfilled her dream of going to Prince’s Paisley Park.  Carla’s favorite color was purple, and her birthday was like a national holiday. Carla also enjoyed dining out, her fish tank and watching Westerns.

Carla struggled with health issues these past few years, and maintained her sense of humor through it all. We take comfort in knowing that Carla is reunited with the rest of the “Golden Girls of Willow.” 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday 5/21 from 4-6pm at DRCC, 5629 Grand Ave Duluth, MN 55807.  Guests are encouraged to wear purple in honor of Carla. Light refreshments will be served.
