Carol Emerson

Carol Ann Emerson, age 70, of Duluth, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Solvay Hospice House.  She was born September 1, 1945 in Eveleth, Minn. to Edward L. and Zora (Milanovich) Kosteliz.  Carol was a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth.  She married Vernon M. Emerson on December 28, 1968 at St. John’s Church in Biwabik, Minn. Carol was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Duluth.

Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years, Vern; sons Edward (Amy) of Minneapolis and David (Becky) of Duluth; eight grandchildren; siblings:  Darlene (Pete) Staudohar of Duluth, Ronald Kosteliz of Eden Praire, and Richard (Margaret) Kosteliz of Australia.

Carol was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed.

Visitation:  5-7 pm Wednesday, June 15th. at Dougherty Funeral Home.  Visitation continues on Thursday, June 16th. from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 4901 E.
