Carol Jean Roberts, 74, of Hermantown died Friday, June 21, 2013 in St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Duluth on August 3, 1938 to Robert and Margit Mehrman. Carol was a life time resident of Duluth and a winter resident of Mission, Texas. She worked as a Business Manager, most recently for Dr. L'Abbe's dental office until her retirement in 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Dick and Jerry Mehrman. Survivors include her best friend of 58 years Wayne (Winky) Roberts; son, Michael (Bettianne) Roberts of Duluth; daughters, Cindy (Steve) Kulzer of Buffalo, MN, Tracy Roberts (James Dudley) of Champlin, MN, Ronda (Duane) Oraskovich of Duluth; a brother, James (Kathy) Mehrman of Mankato, MN; grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) Bye, Tanya Roberts, Amanda Roberts, Brian Draisey, Samantha Oraskovich, Elisabeth Draisey, Benjamin Kulzer, Thomas Oraskovich, Brooke Oraskovich, Paige Kulzer and Faith Kulzer; great grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Bye; Sisters-in-law JoAnn Haugen and Janet (Jerry) Madison; her best friend Bev and her beloved companion Sophie.
VISITATION: 5:00 TO 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Dougherty Funeral Home.
