Carroll A. Bridge, 81 of Superior, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Essentia St. Mary, Duluth after a short illness, surrounded by her family. Carroll was born October 9, 1931 in Superior to Richard and Agnes (Carroll) Kuehlthau. She graduated from Superior Central High School. She worked for St. Germain's, MP&L and spent most of her time working for Wisconsin Job Service. Carroll was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and a former member of its Altar Society. She enjoyed doing needle work for "Love Quilts"; she also enjoyed bird watching and fishing.
Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Agnes and her brother, Richard who died in 1968.
Carroll is survived by her sons, Tom, Dick and Jim Bridge all of Superior and her sisters, Cecil Kuehlthau and Helen Bergson both of Superior; two nephews, Herb and Paul (Brenda) Bergson.
Visitation will begin Monday with at Wake Prayer at 4pm with visitation continuing until 6pm at St. Francis Church, 2316 E 4th St. Superior. Visitation will continue Tuesday at St. Francis from 10am to the 11am Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
