Charlene Freeman

Charlene June Freeman, 90, of Duluth, passed away Tuesday February 20, 2018 with her family by her side in Chris Jensen Health & Rehabilitation Center.   She was born in Duluth on June 24, 1927 to Thomas and Isabelle Bartz.  Charlene graduated from Denfeld High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Chris Jensen for the loving care that Charlene received during her time there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert W. Freeman, grandchildren Angela Mahle and Daniel Freeman.

She is survived by her children Christine (Barry) Findley, Gayle (Wayne) Kotlarek, and Robert (Carol) Freeman, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 26, 2018 from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Service in Dougherty Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St., Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.
