Charles Richard Tranmel

Passed away on November 21st, 2024 at his home at the age of 70. He was born in Duluth to Orvil and Carolyn (Sterling) Tranmel. He graduated from Central High School and golfed his entire life from the age of 9. He loved being outdoors playing hockey and softball with his friends and fished and hunted as well. He worked as a fearless tree trimmer for many years, then became a team member of Lester Park Golf Course greens crew, doing what he loved. He moved onto LakeView National Golf Course greens crew where he felt at home working beside his son Casey for 18 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John. Survived by his children, Casey, Kari (Charlie), and Maurissa; grandchildren, Norah and Karson; step-children, Jeremy and Jeff; siblings, Mark (Lesa), Mary Beth (Paul), Cindy (Lowell); and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024 with a Visitation beginning at 10 am at Dougherty Funeral Home in Duluth.
