Christa Kinsey

October 22, 1975 — July 30, 2019

Christa Dawn Kinsey (43) 10-22-1975 to 7-30-2019.

Christa passed peacefully on a bright sunny morning with her parents at her bedside.

Her journey in life began in Augsburg Germany. Christa graduated from Central HS and worked at The United Development Achievement Center (UDAC).  She enjoyed her work and many friends at UDAC.

She really enjoyed bowling with the Superstars Bowling League at the Incline Bowling Center, making lots of money off her Dad for all the strikes and spares she got.

Christa experienced many adventures traveling all over America with her parents and brother.  She also loved her visits to Texas to visit relatives.  As long as she was in a car, going somewhere, she was happy.

Her favorite pastimes were spent listening to Barry Manilow music, watching wrestling videos, and numerous other movies and CD’s.

Christa is preceded in death from her grandparents David Jr. and Tillie Kinsey, Angus and June Malm, and uncle John Malm.

Surviving are her parents Donald(Don) and Susan (Malm) Kinsey, brother Nathan, uncles Bill (Kathy) Kinsey, David (Brenda) Malm, aunts Linda Malm, and  Maryanne Malm, nephew Jonathan, niece Alexis, cousins William Kinsey Jr., Holden Kinsey, Xandria Kinsey, and Jason (Kandi) Malm in addition to many other relatives, friends, and neighbors.

The Kinsey Family would like to thank all Special Education teachers, coaches and staff that helped Christa through the years. They will always have a special place in our hearts.

The Kinsey family would also like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the entire medical staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center, especially at the Neuro Trauma ICU, ER, Oncology & Palliative Departments who provided excellent, caring, and professional care for Christa during the last few weeks of her life.
