Clayton Ingolf Morgan, 83, of Duluth, died, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, in Essentia Health St. Marys Medical Center in Duluth. He was born May 13, 1928. in Oslo, Minn., to Henry and Victoria (Johnson) Morgan. Clayton was employed at Diamond Tool as a machinistuntil retiring in 1990. He was a United States Army Veteran. Clayton was a member of the American Legion Post No. 71. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and five sisters. He is survived by his children, Theresa (Larry) Mattson of Duluth, Barbara Pierson of Rochester, Minn., Brenda (John) Hauge of Woodbury, Minn., and Jeffery (Michelle Page) Morganof Denver, Colo.; his grandchildren, Michael, Jill, Derek, Erik, Alec and Steven; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.A GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY: 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, in Dougherty Funeral Home Chapel.
