Cody Lund

Cody James Lund, 24, of Hermantown, died on Thursday June 25, 2015. He was born in Duluth on April 7, 1991 to Daryl Anderson and Shari Lund. Cody attended Denfeld High School. He had worked at Bullyan RV, and was an Apprentice with the Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 49. Cody was a very active family man, in the past he was an avid snowboarder, hockey player and boxer. Presently he spent all his spare time with his young growing family who meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Scott "Looney", cousin Gunner Lee, and close friend Mike Kane.
He is survived by his Mother Shari (Todd) Steberg, father Daryl Anderson, fiancAC. Jenna Takavitz, sons Savior Matthew and Eli Gunner Lee, brothers Casey and Tristian, sister Sophie, step-brother Freedom (Ashley), grandparents Janet Dahlberg and Larry Lund, and numerous first cousins that were more like siblings, and many other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 2, 2015 from 10AM until the Noon Funeral Service in the Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W. Superior St. Duluth, MN 55806, Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 3rd St. Duluth, 55805. 218-727-3555. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
