Constance Rae (Bonnell) Lippitt went to her heavenly home on January 7, 2025.
Connie was born in Duluth, MN to Joyce and Raymond Bonnell on August 11, 1951. She graduated from East High School in 1969.
She married the love of her life, James Lippitt on March 3, 1975 in Sisseton, South Dakota. They were together for over 50 beautiful years, something she was so very proud of.
Connie's two main focuses in life were the Lord and her family. She loved sharing Jesus with everyone she met, leading Bible studies and ministering to women. If you needed prayer, she was right there for you - she was truly a prayer warrior. Connie devoted herself to raising and homeschooling her three daughters. She poured many hours into their lives, for which they will forever be grateful and treasure deeply.
In addition to this, she enjoyed singing her worship music, rug hooking with her friends at the Arrowhead Hookcrafters Guild, raising her dairy goats and working as a beautician for many years. She was a bright light whenever she came into the room and full of fun. With her red lips, she was passionate, tenacious, and shared her flare, her faith and her love for others with everyone that had the blessing of encountering her.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Joyce Bonnell, her brother Tom Bonnell and her best friend in this life, Kathy Harju.
She is survived by her loving husband James Lippitt, daughters and grandchildren, Sarah and Justin Krych (Noah, Levi and Moriah), Jenni and Luke Johnson (Sam and James), Portia and David Van Drisse, her devoted sister Joan (Jim) Rich, and many other loving family members. Joan, thank you for the much love and laughter you brought her as a sister.
Corinthians II 4:16-18
Therefore, we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day for our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal.
Favorite verse of Connie's given to her on 10-10-15 by Kathy Harju.
There will be a Celebration of Life planned in the spring.
