Craig Lester Sanders
Craig "Rocky" Lester Sanders, 55, of Hermantown, passed peacefully at home July 11, 2013 with family by his side after a lengthy illness.
Craig was born on June 16, 1958 in Superior, WI to Lester and Madelyne Sanders.
He grew up in the Fond du Lac community in Duluth, MN and lived most of his life there. He graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1976 and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus college in 1980.
Craig dearly loved and enjoyed the many hours he spent with his family, friends and relatives, especially during any holiday or any excuse for a celebration. Among Craig's hobbies were listening to music and reading. Some of his defining characteristics included his generosity and sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters Patricia (Bob) Aspling, Duluth, MN; Jacquelyn (Tom) Farm, Lino Lakes, MN; his brothers Terry Sanders, Hermantown, MN; Kevin (A Cindy) Sanders, Duluth, MN and also many nieces, nephews and cousins. special thank you to Essentia Health Hospital and Hospice for their excellent care during his illness.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2nd in the Fellowship Hall of the Fond du Lac Community Church, 13104 W. 6th St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 130 W Superior St. #60, Duluth, MN 55802.
