Cynthia "Cindy" Snow

On Saturday, February 19th, 2022, Cynthia “Cindy” Rose Snow joined her Lord after a long and tenacious battle with multiple illnesses.

Cindy was born in Duluth on September 16, 1952 to Henry and Elaine Leischke. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1970 and married the love of her life, Marcus Snow, on October 28, 1972. In her lifetime, Cindy was a nurse, real estate agent and business owner.

Cindy loved to travel and greatly enjoyed time with her friends in both Florida and Minnesota whether it was golfing or discussing books at book club. She was an extraordinary host and loved to have friends and family over for amazing food and fun. Her green thumb in the garden was renowned as well for her love of the deer and birds that frequented her beautiful yards.

In addition to her husband, Cindy is survived by her sister, Chickie (John) Broman; and her brother, Dan Leischke, both of whom she loved and admired dearly. She is also survived by her two children, Holly Snow (Michael Russell) and Lance Snow;   as well as the joy and love of her life, her two grandchildren, Riley Brown and Wesley Snow.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. Second Street, Duluth with a Visitation beginning at 10:00.
