Dale Loushin

Dale F. Loushin 65, of Duluth passed away Sunday, Sept. 14 2014 with his loving family by his side. Dale was born on May 25, 1949, in Ely, MN to Frank and Verna Loushin.

Dale was a graduate of Ely Senior High School, during school he started dating Diane, shortly after graduating they were married, and they lived in Ely for some years, before they moved to Duluth where they resided ever since. Dale was a fun and loving father, grandfather, and a devoted husband. He was very well liked, with a great sense of humor and a soft heart. He made a connection with everyone he met and talked with, and was loved by all.

Dale was preceded in death by, the love of his life, Diane; parents; brother, Gary; brother-in-law's, Tony, and Paul; and niece, Mona.

He is survived by, children, Lisa (Travas Aker) Loushin of Eau Claire, Wis., Mark Loushin, and Becky Loushin, both of Duluth; grandson, Noah; sisters, Darlene, and Diane; and numerous, nieces, nephews, family, and, friends.

Visitation will be from 5-7PM, Thursday, September 18, 2014, visitation will continue Friday, from 2PM until the start of the Memorial Service beginning at 3PM, in the Dougherty Funeral Home.
