Daniel Hatfield

Daniel Donald Hatfield, 61, passed away on Sunday, March 19th.  Dan was raised in Duluth Township, and graduated from Clover Valley High School in 1973 before going on to serve in the United States Army.  Dan loved the outdoors and was a very talented fisherman and professional trapper for most of his life.  He was a very strong, tough man, which he proved during his long battle with cancer.  He was a very loving person, and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family in the Virginia, MN area.  He was preceded in death by his mother Ann Barich, sister Victoria Hatfield, and stepmother Esther Hatfield.  He will be dearly missed by his father Donald Hatfield of Duluth, daughter and grandson Christine and Noah Turrentine of California, brother Donald (Linda) Hatfield Jr. of Florida, brother Ben (Kelsey) Hatfield, brother Daniel (Sarah) James Hatfield, sister Sarah (Shane) Hess, several nieces and nephews, friends, and his beloved dog, Miika.
