David Max Schneiderman born October 27, 1936, passed away December 22, 2017 at the Benedictine Health Center (BHC) at the age of 81. A Memorial service is planned for the BHC Chapel at 11:00am on January 3, 2018.
David is survived by sisters Karen (Robert) Braun and Claudia (Michael) Schrotz and brother, Larry (Sheila) Schneiderman and sister in law, Monica Schneiderman as well as numerous nephews and nieces and other family and friends.
Caregiver, Carla Klehr, added so much to David’s life and the family thanks her more than we can express.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max, and his mother, Edna, and his brothers Phillip and Russell and his nephews Joey Schneiderman, Greg Schneiderman, and Jeffrey Braun and many loving aunts and uncles.
David loved people and people loved him. He enjoyed music, reading, and all foods. Yes, all foods.
Family thanks Deb and all the caregivers at BHC for their compassionate care all these years. Doctors told David’s mother he wouldn’t live to be a teenager. A nurse at BHC commented, “Love kept him alive.”
Memorials are preferred over flowers to either Ronald McDonald House or Benedictine Living Community of Duluth Foundation, 935 Kenwood Ave., Duluth, Minn. 55811.
