David R. Wigg

David Roland Wigg, age 67, of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on August 16, 2024. He was born on June 6, 1957, in Duluth, MN, to Effie and Raymond Wigg.

 David was a devoted mechanic at Lakehead Trucking for over 20 years, where he was known for his hard work and integrity. He enjoyed traveling and took pleasure in exploring new places whenever he had the chance. David was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, and he was especially cherished by his grandchildren, who will always hold a special place in their hearts for him. In the time before his passing, David came to know Jesus, finding peace in his faith. 

 He is survived by his brother, Robert Wigg; his daughter, Chantelle Stover; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Shianne, David, Cole, and Isabelle. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wigg; his mother, Effie Wigg; and his brother, Steven Wigg.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29th, from 10AM until the 11:00 am Celebration of Life in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805. The burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.

 David will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
