Dennis W. Kalligher, 71 of Duluth died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Solvay Hospice House with his family by his side. Dennis was born July 10, 1942 in Duluth to Kenneth and Evelyn Kalligher. He graduated from East High School and UMD. Dennis served in the Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He married Darlene Linskie in Duluth on October 2, 1964. He retired from Upper Lakes Foods as a salesman in 2004. Dennis enjoyed golfing and fishing and spending time with Darlene and his family, you never saw Dennis without Darlene. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Denise Luhm, Michelle (Keith) Willhite and Jim Kalligher; grandchildren, David, Amanda, Hannah, Evelee, Daniel, Emily, Thea and Dennis William; great grandchildren, David Jr., Liam and Bella; brother, Gene (Marge) Kalligher and mother in law, Ella Mae Linskie.
Visitation will be Thursday starting at 12 noon with services at 1pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home.
