Dolly Peterson

Dolly Maxine (White) Peterson, 87, of Hermantown, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth. She was born August 18, 1927 in St. Petersburg, Florida to James Robert and Mary Frances (Parker) White. A Hermantown resident since 1955, she was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and its Esther Circle, Women of the Moose Proctor Lodge 585 and the Good Time Square Dance Club. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; three sisters; and her husband Roy Leonard Peterson. Dolly is survived by her sons: Roy Leonard (Laurie) Jr. of Fort Collins, CO, Duane Marvin (Donna) of Duluth, and Thomas Raymond (Linda) of Hermantown; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Dolly's family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Viewcrest Health Center, especially the staff on Hawks Ridge.
Visitation: 10 am until the 11 AM funeral service Wednesday, April 29th at Salem Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the City of Hermantown Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, 727-3555.
