Dolores Heine

Dolores “Dee” Heine age 93, of Duluth entered eternal life on March 13, 2021.  She was born on April 8, 1927, to Alphonse and Clara (Kranz) Obermiller in Albany MN. She graduated from Albany High School and shortly after, completed a special secretarial program in Ohio. She returned to MN and became employed at the Greyhound Bus Company in Minneapolis as executive secretary. She married Raymond Heine on Sept. 30, 1950, and they moved to Duluth.

Dee was a much loved mother and grandmother and enjoyed playing cards and watching all sports on TV.  She was an avid Twins and Vikings fan and hardly ever missed a game.  She also was a long-time member of St Joseph’s Catholic parish in Duluth Heights and was church secretary for many years.

Preceded in death by husband Ray, daughter Donna and siblings Phyllis, Vivian, Audrey, Rose and Alphonse Jr.  She is survived by daughters Mary, Burnsville MN; Jane, Phoenix AZ; and Joyce (Tony) of Bloomington MN and grandchildren Steven, Caroline and Brooke.

A celebration of life will be held on April 20th at St Joseph’s Catholic Church at 11:00, with visitation 1 hour before.   Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
