Donald Ford
March 19, 1926 — October 31, 2013
Donald Kenneth Ford, Lt. USNR, Ret. died peacefully on October 31, 2013, at the age on 87, surrounded by his family.
Donald was from Menominee WI, joined the Navy and served in WWII and the Korean War. After WWII he met and married the love of his life Avis on November 22, 1952 at the Great Lakes Naval Station. He lived a good life and was loved by all.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, son Kevin, and grandson Paul.
He is survived by his children, Tamma Ford, Melanie (Daniel Bonhiver) Ford, Paul Ford, Maureen Ford; grandchildren, Diana Dominguez, Trevor Ford, Caridad Ford, Jake Ford, and his pal Buddy.
The family would like to thank everyone at St Ann's for their friendship.
An at-sea scattering will take place at a later date.
