Donald Opheim

Donald Conrad Opheim, 81, of Duluth, died Friday, October 20, 2017 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center after a longtime battle with alzheimers.  He was born in Duluth June 16, 1936 to Conrad and Marie (Hanus) Opheim.  Don was an Army veteran.  He had worked for Great Lakes Shipping as a fireman.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Don is survived by his daughters Adele and Rebecca Opheim; and by his former wife Kathy Opheim, all of Duluth.  Private family services were held.  Burial is at Park Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, 218-727-3555.
