Donna Poroli
January 29, 1931 — March 16, 2015
Donna J. Poroli, 84, of Duluth, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. Donna was born January 29, 1931 in Duluth to Ross and Katherine Brouse. She graduated from Central High School in 1948. Donna worked for many years at West Duluth Chiropractic as an Office Manager and X-Ray Technician. She married Orlando "Bud" Poroli on August 15, 1978. She was a member of Ridgeview Country Club with Bud as well as the Order of the Eastern Star. Cooking and spending time with her family is what she enjoyed most.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Katherine; her daughter, O'Ann DeCaro and her brother, Carlton Brouse.
Donna is survived by her husband, Bud; children, Ricky (Crystal) Bergman, Kathy (David) Amundson, Lori (John) Rich, Debbie (Pat) McAuliffe and Tim Bergman; grandchildren, Nicky, Richy, Timmy (Emily), Tiffany (Don), Elizabeth (David Dennison), Breanna, Frankie (Jared), Kyle, Aaron (Monica), Jodi, Jordan, Mary Elizabeth (Steven) and Pauli (Shane Custer); great grandchildren, Parker, Shawn, Abby, Cooper, Danny, Katie, Thomas, Bella and Mya; brother Ross (Michelle) Brouse; sister Roberta Wallace; brother-in-law Ardito Poroli and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Friday starting at 5pm with a Celebration of Life at 7pm at Dougherty Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery on Saturday at 11am. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd St., Duluth, (218) 727-3555.
