Dorothy Sweeney

Dorothy "Dolly" P. Sweeney of Duluth, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at her residence, Lakeshore. She was born in Duluth to Daniel and Katherine (Yohovich) Perich. Dolly was a high school graduate and attended Young & Hurst Business College. She enjoyed golf, playing cards, and was a great reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, two brothers; and her husband Morgan C. Sweeney on April 12, 1981.
Dolly is survived by her son Michael F. (Mary) Sweeney of Superior; grandchildren: John M. (Julie) Sweeney, William M. Sweeney, and Colleen M. (Mark) Meinen; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister Doris Perich of Duluth. Dolly's family would like to thank the staff of Lakeshore for their wonderful care. Memorial services will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, January 16th at Lakeshores' Elsing Chapel.
