Douglas Peterson

Douglas P. Peterson, 55, of Duluth died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at St. Lukes following a stroke. Doug was born March 4, 1957 in Superior to William and Patricia Peterson. Doug owned and operated Shear Katz Hair Salon for 28 years. He also enjoyed body work on his cars; he built the home he lives in.; enjoyed fishing and was always there to help his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia. Doug is survived by his son, Taylor; brother, Tom (Clarice) Peterson and his sister Wendy Peterson both of Superior; niece and nephew, Amy and Matt; fianc?e, Faye Herbert of Duluth; step-mother, Neda Peterson of Superior and several step brothers and sisters and lots of other family and friends. VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from Thursday from 10 a.m. to the 11a.m. Services at Hermantown Community Church, 4880 Maple Grove Rd.
