Eddie Connor

Eddie M. Connor, 87, of Duluth, passed away peacefully in Essentia Health, St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was born in Dow, OK on May 21, 1928 to Thomas and Clisty Connor. Eddie had worked as an Account Supervisor for the Quaker Oats Company until his retirement. He was an Army Veteran. Eddie was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church where he had been a Deacon, and had been very active with the youth groups of the church; he is a lifetime member of McAlester Masonic Lodge #96, McAlester, OK; the Scottish Rite and Shrine in McAlester, Ok; and the Lakeside Chapter #225 Order of Eastern Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Cyril, Henry, Billy Joe, and Thomas Walter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Dorothy "Dottie", children Jane (Jeffrey) Cox of Duluth, June Connor of Grayson, GA, and Eddie (Matt Parkhurst) Connor Jr. of Guerneville, CA; grandchildren Deanna (Matt) Fearnbaugh, Aaron Cox and Shannon Cox, a great-granddaughter Allison Fearnbaugh, and several nieces and nephews.
