Edward Bruce Shanblott

Edward Bruce Shanblott of Duluth, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. He was born in Duluth on August 21, 1949 and graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1968. Ed was employed by Home Beautifier Company Incorporated from 1971 until his retirement. Throughout his life Ed was a member of the Minnesota Air National Guard, the Duluth Zoning Board, the Shrine, and served as president of the Duluth Builders Association.

Ed was a member of Temple Israel and a board member of Adas Israel.

He was proceeded in death by mother, Mildred Shanblott (Klayman) and father, Sam Shanblott.

Ed is survived by brother, Arlen Shanblott (Shirley); nieces, Michelle Shanblott, Lisa Loeh (Dave), Erin Shanblott (Ike Ihiekwe); nephews, Cameron and Connor Dickman, Eoin Shanblott, and Xavier and Eli Ihiekwe.

Interment and private service will take place at Tifereth Israel Cemetery.
