Elaine Finner

Elaine Esther Finner, 93 of Duluth, died on Thursday May 20, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was born on October 5, 1927 in Fertile, MN to Robert and Esther Kilte Sr.  Elaine graduated from Deer River High School.  She enjoyed crocheting and had completed over 1000 afghans.  Elaine loved to play Bingo, Keno, and cribbage.  She was a Minnesota sports fanatic, watching or listening to the radio broadcasts of the Minnesota Twins, Wild, and Vikings and she enjoyed watching NASCAR racing.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell, son Joel, sisters Arlene Wagner and Marion Hulbert.

Elaine is survived by her children Cynthia (Gerald) Chesney, Pamela Foucault, Claudia Cosner, Scott (Susan) Finner, Todd (Betty) Finner, Flynn (Barb) Finner, Jock Finner, and Rustee Finner, 24 great-grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her brother Robert (Linda) Kiltie Jr..

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 5PM until the 7PM Memorial Service in the Dougherty Funeral Home.  600 E. 2nd St. Duluth, MN 55805.  218-727-3555.  Burial at a later date in Nobel Hill Cemetery.
