Elaine Johnson

Age 62 of West Duluth, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born December 12, 1959 to Richard and Mercedes Siddall in Duluth.

Elaine graduated from Denfeld High School in 1978 and worked her entire life at various jobs including Mr. Donut, The Danish Bakery, K-Mart and CSL Plasma. Elaine was a member of St. James Catholic Church, and the Proctor Moose Lodge #1302 and WOTM Chapter #585 where she attained the highest degree given to women members, The College Degree of Regents.

Elaine loved cooking, shopping on QVC, and knitting various items for her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcy. Survived and sadly missed by her husband, Donald Johnson Sr.; father, Richard; step-mother, Bernice; son, Ryan (Stacy) Johnson; step-son, Donald (Molly) Johnson Jr.; step-daughter, Jennifer Johnson; sisters-in-law, Bonnie (John) Kubiak, Brenda (James) McKinnon, and Terri Earls; step-sisters, Sharon Laititen and Janice Mitchell; and five grandchildren.

A Private Service for her family will be held at St. James Church. A public Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Proctor Moose Lodge on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
