Elizabeth died at home on May 3, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 12, 1992 at St. Marys Hospital, Duluth, Minn. She was a 2007 graduate of Holy Rosary School, 2011 graduate of the Marshall School, and was a freshman at North Dakota State University - Fargo. Elizabeth was the vice skip of the 2012 Junior Womens National Curling Championship Team and Team USA who recently participated in the 2012 Junior World Curling Championships in Ostersund, Sweden. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandfather James Otto in 2002. Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Keane & Jane Busche, Duluth; grandparents, Roberta Otto, Duluth, Christ & Joyce Busche, Duluth; many great-aunts & uncles, many aunts & uncles, dozens of cousins, and many friends. VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, from with Wake Prayers at 6:30 p.m. at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805, 218-727-3555. Visitation will continue Saturday from 11 a.m. to the Mass of Christian Burial at noon at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, 2801 E. 4th Street, Duluth, MN.
