Enid Ehle

Enid Marie Ehle, 93, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Ecumen Lakeshore. She was born in Duluth on February 4, 1922 to John and Julia Nordling. On July 18, 1942, Enid married Donald Ehle. During Don's 20 year army career, Enid was a homemaker and lived in Oregon, Michigan, Japan, Mound, MN and Duluth. Enid was an active member at Good Shepherd Catholic and Elim Lutheran churches. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin on Lake Nichols with her family; playing bingo, cards and working crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents, sister Ina, and brother John.
She is survived by her children Tom (Sandie) Ehle of Duluth, Bob (Sandy) Ehle of Hermantown, Linda (Jim) Chapman of Chaska, MN/Tampa, FL, Nancy (Ron) Lassila of Duluth and Jim (Laurie) Ehle of Maplewood, MN, twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family thanks the staff of Keystone Bluffs and Ecumen Lakeshore, for the loving care provided to Enid.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 22, 2016 from 10am until the 11am Funeral Service in Elim Lutheran Church 6101 Cody St., Duluth, MN 55807. Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
