Erling Peterson

Erling "Butch" Peterson, 72, of Cloquet, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Tuesday, July 10, 2018.  Butch was born in Duluth to Clarence and Mabel, on January 5, 1946.

Butch was strongly devoted to the success of his business which he started in 1987; and he also enjoyed time outdoors, but most importantly spending time with his family.

He was preceded death by his parents; step-father, Melvin; sisters, Carol, and Hazel; 3 half-brothers; and half-sister.

Butch is survived by his loving wife, Leanne; children, Cory (Marla); Kristin (Corey Guenther); grandchildren, Arianna, Milan, Easton, Wyatt, Corey Jr., and Kylee; numerous, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Celebration of life will be 11AM Monday, July 16, 2018, with visitation one-hour prior in the Dougherty Funeral Home 600 E 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805, burial will be in Eagle Lake Cemetery.
