Eugene Alan Connor

 Eugene “Skip” Alan Connor age 72 of Duluth Township died on November 14, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1951 to parents, Eugene Sr. and Eunice (Turpin) Connor. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Jacque Abrahamson. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rev. Susan Connor; sisters, Stephanie (John) Micketts, Georgia (Michael) Guite, Denise (Kurt) Johnson,; In-laws, Jim (Mary) Ells, Rev. Julie Ells, Robin (Noreen) Ells, Rev. Chuck (Shelly) Ells, Betsy (Scott) Follis, Tedd (Mellisa) Ells; honorary son, Blaine Youngquist; special friend, Rob Paradeau; and his loving yellow labs, Grunt and Rosie Rose Bud.

Skip loved the outdoors, and he shared that love with others. that love with others. Fishing trips to Lake of the Woods and Algoma, WI were especially memorable. Skip loved animals. They shared that same affinity for Skip. Deer, quail and other critters would literally eat out of the palm of his hand.  

Funeral Service will be on Friday, November 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at The River Church, 1902 E 4th St, Duluth, MN 55812.
