Florence Schaefer

Florence Mae Schaefer, 94 of Duluth, passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020 in St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was born in Duluth on May 11, 1926 to Ralph and Maria Cozzi.  She graduated from Duluth Central High School.  On March 10, 1945 she married Roger William Schaefer.   Florence had worked as a Hairdresser at the Cameo Beauty Shop in West Duluth.  Florence was a member of St. Lawrence Church; she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and working on word puzzle books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and three brothers.

Florence is survived by her children, Bill (Judy), Sally (Tom) Sveine, George (Stephanie), Marlene Gilbertson and Darlene (John) Marks; grandchildren, Scott and Brad; Aleta, Cassie and Vince and great grandchildren, McKeely, Corbin and Kiera.
