Frances Davis-Jones

Frances Emily Davis-Jones, 41, of Duluth passed away on Jan. 27, 2012. Fran was born Dec. 18, 1970 in Duluth. She had such a kind heart and outgoing personality. Her loving spirit impacted many lives during her time she shared with us. She was a dedicated bingo player. She loved putting a smile on her friends and familys face. Fran was a daughter, sister, auntie, mother, grandmother, friend, and wife. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Shoots; father, Russell Davis; her children, Marques, Kathlyn, Talisha, Kimberly, Lucas, Zoya; her loving life partner, Mark; brother, Russell; sisters, Lisa and Deborah; nieces, Misti and Amber; nephews, Jacob and Caleb; grandchildren, Marques Jr., Tamiah, Demyonne, and Shameka, and numerous other family, friends, and loved ones. A benefit dinner will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 starting at 7 p.m. at Bevs Jook Joint, 820 Tower Avenue, Superior. VISITATION: 5-7 pm, Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 in the Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. Second St., Duluth, and will continue at 10 a.m. Friday until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service in Dougherty Funeral Home.
