Gen’s greatest joy was her seven children and later grand and great grandchildren. Gen spent these years raising their children with commitment and compassion, her countless hours of schoolwork and outside activities shows in the “family” environment she molded into her children. Her door was open to all at any time, a cookie jar was always full of fresh muffins and cookies, her favorite, a jar of peanut M&M’s was always on her table. Gen’s home was filled with hundreds of Owl items that she collected in all her travels; everyone was numbered by the location she found it.
