Gerald Hendrickson, Jr.

Gerald Roy "Jerry" Hendrickson Sr., 77, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Duluth, Minnesota went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018.

He was born Apr. 12, 1940 in Duluth, Minnesota to Roy and Hazel Hendrickson. The pinnacle of Gerald's success was the receipt of the company's "Lifetime Achievement Award" given for his lifelong persistency and outstanding service to clients as well as sharing his ideas with his fellow advisors as they sought to help people become financially independent.

Jerry was a member of the Punta Gorda Boat Club, Charlotte Park Civic Association, the NRA and a Lifetime member of United Northern Sportsman. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and sitting around a campfire with family and friends.

Jerry will be greatly missed by his wife, Beverly; son, Michael Hendrickson; daughter, Dani Jo (Cecil) White; brothers, Reginald Hendrickson and Charles Hendrickson; sister, Gloria Martin; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Gerald Roy Hendrickson, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29, at First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda. Burial will be at Parkhill Cemetery, Duluth, MN.
