Glenn Allen Tjaden Sr.

Glenn Allen Tjaden Sr, 62, of Duluth, died Saturday, January 11, 2025 in his residence. Glenn was born on September 12, 1962 in Duluth to Donald and Glenna (Wells) Tjaden. He served in the U S Army. Glenn married Tina Marie Wright in Duluth on July 1, 1983. He worked at several factories in the Duluth area. Glenn was involved with Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), bowling and cribbage leagues and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tina Marie; a daughter, Brenda Tjaden; a granddaughter, Aysia Taylor and a grandson, Jackson Tjaden. Glenn is survived by three children, Casandra Tjaden of Duluth, Cristy (Quintin Pratt) Tjaden of Duluth and Glenn Allen (Catie) Tjaden Jr of Duluth; three sisters, Bonnie (Carl) Sherman of New Mexico, Marvel Tjaden of Duluth, and Nora Tjaden of WI; two brothers, Fred (Sue) Tjaden of WI and Donald Tjaden of WI; six grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Glenn III, Georgia, Dawson and Maverich.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Dougherty Funeral Home from 1 pm to 3 pm with a time for sharing at 2 pm. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 East 2nd Street.
