Grace Marie Abrahamson

Grace Marie Abrahamson, age 76 of Duluth, died on September 7, 2023 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born in Duluth on March 20, 1947 to parents, Alex & Marjorie (Rockwell) Youngs. She was a life-long Duluth resident. She atteneded  Duluth Denfeld High School. On June 1, 1963 Grace married the love of her life, Edward Abrahamson; she was just 16 years old. Proving the doubters wrong, Grace and Ed enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage together. Grace will be remembered as an amazing wife, and incredible mother to her 6 children, and many pets. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick; and sisters, Joanne Youngs & Patricia Stephenson.

Grace is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward; daughters, Robin Bernsten, Deborah Abrahamson, Melissa Abrahamson (Brady Stroschein), Kelly (Josh) Golen, and Carol (Sam) Golen; 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joesph (Helen) Youngs and Carol Parshall; and many extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14^th at Grace Baptist Church, 601 14th St, Cloquet, MN 55720.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
